I began writing stories as a kid. I started lots of them, but finished few. Then in high school, I created a comic book character and dreamed up a whole series. I wrote and illustrated a single issue, and photocopied it at Kinko's. I stopped writing for a while after that, until later in college. As an undergraduate I wrote mostly science fiction and fantasy short stories. I also wrote some poetry. I have continued to write short stories, but now I mostly work on middle grade and young adult novels. I hope to have one published soon.
